Currently my practice is full and I have an extensive waitlist.
I have been a practicing therapist for over fifteen years, working with a diverse population of people. I find this work to be very rewarding, as I am curious about others and enjoy connecting with all types of people. I have extensive experience in working with trauma, self-esteem issues, anxiety, relational problems, and grief and loss issues (which are everything).
I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor and have supervised many new therapists as they work towards becoming a certified therapist. Please inquire as to the hourly rate for supervision.
Do know that anything I ask of you, as a client or supervisee, I have asked and continue to ask of myself. This work together can be special in that it sets a template for what we hope to have in the “outside” world, often experienced as authenticity, transparency, and non-judgment. Therapy is a collaborative process that unfolds naturally with time, and with trust built. Often people come to therapy because they have reached the end of their own personal understanding of a problem. You now want another to listen to you, think with you, feel with you, and ultimately be curious with you in examining the unspoken or unexamined. We will therefore work together to look at possible connections, themes, patterns, and relationships that may be affecting your life in any seen and unforeseen ways. In all ways, self-compassion is what fuels my work, and we will look at the judgments and stories that get in the way of this powerful tool.
